1Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing or using the Splitbuz mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.
These terms apply to all users, including free and Pro subscribers.
2Your Account
To use certain features you may create an account using email, Google or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and secure.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Providing accurate information when creating trips and adding members.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account.
3Using Splitbuz
Splitbuz helps you track travel expenses, split group costs and manage trip budgets. You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to record unlawful transactions.
- Attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.
- Upload content that is abusive, misleading or infringes the rights of others.
4Subscriptions & Billing
The core App is free. Splitbuz Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription billed through Google Play or the App Store. Prices are shown in the store before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed anytime in your store account settings.
5Your Content
Trips, expenses, notes and photos you add remain yours. By using the App you grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely to provide the service (e.g. syncing between your group's devices and generating reports).
6Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is". While we work hard to keep calculations accurate and the service available, Splitbuz is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or disputes between trip members arising from recorded expenses. Always verify final settlements with your group.
7Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, your personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
8Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the App evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
